Andhra Pradesh school students are going to be promoted without exams amid the outbreak of Coronavirus. The AP Government has decided to promote schools students of Class 6 to Class 9 to the next class without any examination amid the outbreak of COVID-19. All exams from Class 6 to Class 9 are cancelled and students of these classes will be promoted to the next class without exams. The decision to cancel schools exams of Class 6 to Class 9 was taken by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Amid COVID-19 Outbreak Meanwhile, other states that have decided to cancel school exams from Class 1 to Class 9 are Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat. Apart from this, Puducherry has also decided to promote school students from class 1 to 9 to the next class without exams.
In view of COVID-19, schools and colleges are shut down across the country. Further, CBSE and CISCE Boards have also postponed the Class 10 and 12 exams amid the outbreak of Coronavirus. Not only this, many government competitive examinations such as UPSC CDS Exam, UPSC Civil Services Personality Test and UPPSC BEO exam have been postponed as well.
At this point of time, everyone is advised to stay home and maintain personal hygiene to combat the issue of COVID-19. At present, the country is going through the phase of complete lockdown to break the chain of this dangerous virus that has affected everyone in some way or the other.
