The Assam Teachers’ Eligibility Test 2019 application process has officially begun. The Assam TET Registrations commenced on 1st September 2019 – Sunday for the state-level teachers’ eligibility test. The candidates who are interested in applying for the exam can register themselves by logging onto the official website ssa.assam.gov.in.
Earlier, the Department of Elementary Education, Assam released the detailed notification for Assam TET Exam 2019. According to the notification, the TET application process commenced on 1st September 2019 – Sunday and will continue until the end of the month i.e. 30th September 2019 – Monday.
Eligibility Criteria
As defined in the notification, candidates who satisfy the following eligibility criteria will be eligible to appear for the TET Entrance Exam 2019.
State Citizens: Only permanent citizens from Assam are eligible to appear for TET 2019
Academic Background: Candidates / applicants must have qualified the Senior Secondary (Graduation, in case of Upper Primary Level) or its equivalent exam with at least 50 per cent marks
Academic Qualification: Additionally, applicants are also required to hold a valid 2-year of Diploma in Elementary Education degree in order to apply for Assam TET 2019.
