Water management has become the need of the hour. It is one of those gifts of nature that is precious by all means. Now-a-days, the scarcity of water has become a serious problem and needs a proper conservation plan. The absence of water will surely create a terrible situation in the country. Therefore, it becomes most important to create awareness among the people about the need of saving every drop of water and using it judiciously. Students and youth of the nation are the ideal section who can take this matter seriously and start doing something in regard to water conservation.
In a recent development, Delhi Government has asked all the schools in national capital region to create awareness about the importance of water conservation. The government of Delhi has asked all the schools to conduct water conservation activities that can raise awareness among the students studying there. The awareness campaigns will primarily focus on water scarcity and importance of water conservation. The job of the schools will be to tell students why it is important to save water. The government knows that students are the backbone of the society, and should be the first one to understand the importance of water conservation and take the step forward to save water. The way water level is decreasing everywhere it has become important to pay attention on this issue. In order to raise awareness regarding water conservation, schools in the capital region will be holding a Jan Andolan on August 23, 2019.
In this activity, students will be made the ambassadors of the water conservation movement and they will lead the campaign in the right direction. The students will hold rallies, and also conduct several awareness campaign so that people can understand the importance of water conservation.
