Doodle for Google 2019 India Winner has been announced. The Winner of the Google Competition India is 7-year-old, class 2student Divyanshi Singhal from Gurgaon, India. Her Doodle “Walking Tree” wishes to have moving tress in future to protect the next generation from deforestation. Divyanshi’s imaginative, thought-provoking and concept-based Doodle titled “Walking Tree” become the National Winner of Doodle for Google India Contest and has featured on Google’s Homepage on November 14 to mark the celebration of Children’s Day.

She is a student of DPS, Gurgaon. Divyanshi believes that trees are important for sustainable environment and expressed her disappointment for deforestation. She says, “When I grow up, I hope the world’s trees can walk or fly. The land could be cleared so easily without making them die. There would be so little deforestation and humans can just ask the trees and their friends to move to another place.”

Interestingly, when Divyanshi was asked how such a wonderful idea came to her mind, she went on saying, “When I visited my grandmother, I was so sad to see the trees around her house being cut. So I thought that if trees could walk or fly, we will not have to cut them."

Meanwhile, the Jury for this year’s Doodle for Google had eminent personalities such as Prajakta Koli, leading YouTube Creator, Rajiv Chilaka, CEO of Green Gold Animation and Neha Sharma, famous artist along-with the Google Doodle Team. They jury had a big task ahead of them to choose the winner as all entries were masterpieces in some sense. Eventually, 20 Doodles were shortlisted and showcased online for public voting. Other than this, 5 group winners were also announced in addition to one National Winner. A total of 6 lakh votes helped the jury to pick the final 5 group winners:
