ICAI has released the revised policy for the CA May Exam 2020. According to the new draft policy released by Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, the clause related to re-evaluation of exam has been removed. The decision to remove the clause related to re-evaluation of exam has been taken after the review meeting that was held by the CA Expert committee. Meanwhile the CA Expert committee was formed to analyze the CA Exam process and its regulations.

According to the new draft policy released by ICAI, the clause of re-evaluation of the exam papers after the completion and declaration of result has been omitted. Despite protest by CA students against the omission of re-evaluation system, the new policy has been released. It is to note that the ICAI has removed the re-evaluation policy of answer sheets citing the regulation 39 (4) of CA Regulations 1988. According to the CA Exam regulator, the clause prohibits the re-examination of any paper.

The latest draft policy released by Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has also provided details regarding the suggested answers. The policy states that the suggest answers are not a part of the CA Exam 2020 re-evaluation process. ICAI mentions that the suggested answers are for informational purpose and are not original answers in any sense. Therefore, students should not rely on the suggested answers.
ICAI has released the Draft policy on February 19 and has invited suggestions and feedback from respective stakeholders for improvement purpose. The last date to submit feedbacks and suggestions is February 24, 2020.
