JNU Final Exam To Begin From December 12, Get Details Here

The Monsoon Semester end exam of Jawaharlal Nehru University is going to be held from November 12 to December 20, 2019. It is to note that the last date for JNU Exam thesis submission of M. Phil dissertation/Ph.D is December 31, 2019. The university has released a short notification that the ongoing JNU Protest regarding the Fee Hike is adversely affecting thousands of students who are serious and willing to participate in the academic programmes and continue their studies accordingly. Meanwhile, JNU students are protesting against the hostel fee hike, which has affected the academic ambience of the university.

According to the official notification released by JNU, the varsity will not provide any extension or relaxation in the JNU semester end exam dates as the yearly academic calendar has already been approved by the Executive and the Academic Council. It is to note that the JNU Semester End Exam 2019 Result is also expected to be released by December 30, 2019, as per the university’s academic calendar. In addition, the varsity’s official notification also states that the university reserves the right to award degrees accordingly and have the right to pass/fail students according to the academic ordinances. The notice also covers details regarding minimum qualifying marks, credit requirements and candidature of students.

In the meantime, JNU University students are protesting against the varsity’s decision to raise the fee of JNU hostels. Also, students are agitated over the entire issue and claimed that major rollback decision of JNU to be an eyewash. JNU students also decided to march to the Parliament on Monday, November 18, 2019.
