JNU has suspended classes, exams and events until March 31 due to the outbreak of Coronavirus that is spreading worldwide. Seeing the possible threat from the COVID-19, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has suspended all kind of academic activities in the campus until March 31, 2020, reports said. Earlier, the university discontinued bio-metric attendance for the staff members in the wake of Coronavirus. This step was taken by the university as a precautionary measure to do away from the threat of COVID-19 Virus.
JNU Classes, Events and Exams Suspended Until March 31
Other than exams and class, the varsity has also suspended events, seminars, workshops and conferences in the campus until March 31. The university has asked students with a travel history to countries where Coronavirus Outbreak is at its peak to report the matter to the IHA or JNU Administration so that proper steps can be taken accordingly.

The university has asked students, staffs and non-teaching staffs to maintain personal hygiene and follow government guidelines to stop the COID-19 Virus from spreading. Meanwhile, the Coronavirus is spreading like a wild fire and everyone must do his/her best at individual to stay safe and healthy during this terrible time.
How to stop Coronavirus from Spreading?
Everyone must use hand sanitizers and face mask while going outdoors. Other than this, people should stay from crowded and unhygienic places. Importantly, anyone with fever or cough should immediately visit the nearest health centers for a complete checkup. Maintaining personal hygiene at personal level is a must to stop Coronavirus from spreading.
