Kejriwal Government is working round-the-clock to ensure that every student has access to an exemplary standard of education in the national capital. Today, Delhi's Kejriwal model of development stands as a role model for not only the states in India but outside too. The impeccable quality of work that has been done in the education and health sectors of Delhi is being appreciated widely. The vision is to strengthen the standard of education and make it world-class. Continuing this vision, the Kejriwal Government has now taken a decision in this regard. Let us know more about it.

Students to receive Rs. 2 thousand as seed money

Delhi is witnessing a new era of development with a major transformation in its education sector. Today, students of Delhi are taught to become job providers and not job seekers. These young minds have the capability to create jobs for others and contribute to the economy of our country. Thus, aiming to create a generation of job providers, the Kejriwal Government has recently launched the Business Blasters program under Entrepreneurship Mindset Curriculum (EMC) in all its government schools. The aim is to instil entrepreneurial qualities in students and help them become future entrepreneurs of India. Through the EMC program, every student of 11th and 12th grade will be given seed money of Rs 2,000 which will empower them to start a business of their own. In this way, financial help of Rs 70 crore will be given to 3.5 lakh students of Delhi to strengthen their business acumen.

EMC to solve the issue of unemployment

Entrepreneurship Mindset Curriculum (EMC) is the only solution to the problem of unemployment in the country. After completing their studies, our students should have an entrepreneurial mindset to become job providers and not job seekers. Kejriwal Government of Delhi is working in this direction only to give wings to the business dreams of students. The purpose behind the creation of such a mindset is to help the students believe in themselves that they can achieve anything in life and through their business idea, they can even contribute to the economy of the country. Students should create jobs for the country, instead of standing in queues to get jobs.

Kejriwal Government's pilot project turns out to be successful

The Business Blasters Program under EMC was initially started as a pilot project at Kejriwal Government’s School of Excellence in Khichdipur. In this, 9 groups of 41 children were formed and each student was given seed money of Rs 1 thousand. These young kids with their innovative and out of the box approach made huge profits out of this. On its success, it was decided to implement this program in all schools of Kejriwal Government in Delhi. Now, after a successful inauguration of the Business Blasters Program, students of Delhi Government schools will be given seed money of Rs 2,000 to convert their business ideas into profit-making business models. Today, Kejriwal Government is helping the students to harness their talents and fulfil their dreams of becoming leading entrepreneurs of the country.
