Maharashtra Government Directs Schools And Colleges To Play National Anthem Before Public Events

Uday Samant, Minister of Higher and Technical Education, Government of Maharashtra has directed colleges and universities in the state to play National Anthem at the beginning of their public events. A directive regrading this order will be issued in a few days. Samant said this move will inculcate the feeling of patriotism among students.

Speaking at an event he said "Students should have feeling of patriotism. A decision will be taken to ensure public events at colleges and universities begin with the national anthem so that students know the importance of sacrifices made to attain freedom”.

The Minister of Higher and Technical Education also noted how National Anthem is being rendered in cinema theatres before the screening of a movie. Meanwhile, he also said that the name board of colleges in the state should be in Marathi.

Maharashtra Board Exam 2020

Meanwhile, MSBSHSE has released the Class 10 and Class 12 Timetable 2020 for the upcoming board exams. Students who are going to appear for the Maharashtra Board SSC and HSC 2020 exam need to download the date sheet from the official website, i.e. mahahsscboard.maharashtra.gov.in. The Maharashtra Board Class 10 exam is going to begin from March 3, 2020 and the HSC 2020 exam is going to begin from February 18, 2020.

The SSC or Class 10 2020 exam will begin from March 3 and end on March 23, 2020. On the other hand, Class 12 or HSC 2020 Exam will begin from February 18 and end on March 18, 2020. Students appearing for the board exams should not take too much pressure while appearing for the exam. Now, it’s time for quick revision and stay confident. To get good grades, students must stay calm and composed at the time of exam and should panic at any point of time.
