Meghalaya Government has taken the decision to extend the closing of School and Education Institutes till April 30, 2020. It is to note that the nation-wide lockdown of 21 days that is imposed in the country is going to end on April 14, 2020. However, the Meghalaya Government has decided to close all school and colleges in the state till April 30, seeing the safety concerns amid Coronavirus Outbreak. However, the Meghalaya Government has decided to open the government offices in the state from April 15, 2020 onwards.
School and Colleges To Remain Closed Amid Coronavirus Outbreak
Meanwhile, all schools and colleges across are closed as of now due to the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, it’s only after the lockdown period gets over in the country, schools and colleges will be opened after accessing the situation. Apart from this, many entrance examinations application dates are also extended and many competitive exams are postpone due to the Coronavirus outbreak.

CBSE, CISCE and other state boards had to postpone the remaining class 10 and class 12 exams 2020 as well due to the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic. Seeing the situations, many state boards including CBSE has decided to promote students from class 1 to class 8 to the next grade without examination.
At this point of time, everyone is advised to stay and follow all the precautionary measures to combat the issue of COVID-19 Pandemic. Students’ particularly should not get restless at this point of time and should engage their time in online learning.
