Schools and colleges will remain closed in many States and Union Territories to ensure complete safety and security following the Supreme Court verdict on Ayodhya Case today. Several States have chosen to impose Section 144 to maintain peace following the Ayodhya case verdict. From schools in Uttar Pradesh to educational institutes in Karnataka, schools of many states will be shut down on November 9, 2019 to maintain complete law and order.
All colleges and schools will remain closed in Uttar Pradesh till November 11, 2019 while November 12 is already a holiday due to Guru Nanak Jayanti. Educational Institutes will reopen in the state on November 13, 2019. The security has also been tightened up and respective areas have been put on high alert in the wake of Ayodhya Case Verdict by the state administration. According to the latest reports, schools will also remain closed in Jammu & Kashmir and Karnataka to ensure complete law and order.
In the meantime, according to the ANI news agency report, schools in Madhya Pradesh will also remain closed on November 9. Further, the District Magistrate of Bhopal has also imposed section 144, banning gathering of more than 4 people in the district. According to the Delhi Deputy Chief Minister advisory to private and government schools of Delhi will remain closed on November 9 as well.
