Higher education is becoming popular in India as the youth of the country wants to get enrolled in the professional course of their choice in order to get jobs in reputed companies. Sometimes the students don’t get admission due to non-availability of university seats and at times universities seats are left vacant without students. According to a recent development, too many seats are vacant in the TMBU, Bihar. The available seats for the academic session have not been filled as of now. It is due to this reason that the university may have to reopen the admission portal. Meantime, the admission timeline has also been extended.
This is the fourth time that the university has extended the admission date as seats are lying vacant in TMBU. In order to fill the vacant seats and allow the admission process to proceed, the university has reopened its online portal and invited online applications. It is interesting to note that classes have already been started in the university. According to the reports, thirty thousand seats are yet to be filled, which is almost 50% seats are lying vacant. This case is serious that the university has reopened the portal for admission process.
The university officials told that the prime reason behind so many seats going vacant is that students are unable to find the right combination of course. In addition, some of the courses are not so popular and students are refraining from taking admission in such programs.
