UGC Issues Advisory To Postpone All Exams Till March 31 Amid Coronavirus Outbreak

According to the UGC Advisory, all educational institutes need to maintain regular communication with students and update them accordingly regarding any latest happenings through electronic means.

UGC has issued an advisory that has told universities to postpone all exams till March 31, 2020 due to Coronavirus Outbreak and reschedule all postponed examinations after March 31, 2020. UGC has issued this advisory after receiving communication from the Secretary, Ministry of Human Resurce Department. According to the press release released by UGC, all universities need to take precautionary measure to stay safe amidst the outbreak of Coronavirus. Meanwhile, the dangerous COVID-19 virus is spreading rapidly across the globe and has been declared as a pandemic.

According to the UGC Advisory, all educational institutes need to maintain regular communication with students and update them accordingly regarding any latest happenings through electronic means. Educational institutes must ensure to check no type of anxiety is developed among students due to lack of information in any respective subject.

Other than this, educational institutes and colleges should provide helpline number and email IDs to students to contact the respective college regarding any relevant queries. Also, universities and colleges must advice teachers, non-teaching staffs and students to not panic and take all precautionary measure to combat COVID-19.
