According to media reports, UPTET Question Paper 2019 is leaked in Prayagraj. The Special Task Force has arrested a seven-member group that leaked the UPTET 2019 Paper. Meanwhile, the UPTET 2019 exam was conducted on January 8, 2020 by the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board. The accused in this case include a college principal, a solver, a broker, SIM and mobile card dealers. As per reports, the accused already had Bluetooth devices and mobile phones with activated SIMs for leaking UPTET Question Papers. The Special Task Force (STF) has also seized vehicles and cash of Rs 4,11,000 from the accused arrested in the UPTET Scam case.
It has also been reported that candidates faced other challenges like not being able to reach the exam center due to unavailability of transportation and nationwide strike. Candidates from other parts of the state were unable to reach the center due to heavy rains. Further, candidates from Mathura too couldn’t make it to the exam venues as a result of recent protest against CCA.
Earlier, the UPTET 2019 Exam was scheduled to be held on December 22, which was rescheduled and was conducted on Jnauary 8, 2020. The exam was postponed due to the massive protest and strikes against the CAA. According to the schedule, the UPTET 2019 Result is going to be released on February 7, 2020.
The UPTET 2019 answer key is also scheduled to be released on January 14 wherein candidates need to raise objection against the answer key if any latest by January 31, 2020. However, after this scam it seems that the exam is likely to be held again, however, there is no update or official notification released as of now.
