Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has issued its half-yearly calendar for the year 2019. UPPSC is going to hold 10 exams for recruitment across several posts from January to June 2019. The calendar is available for candidates on the official website uppsc.up.nic.in. The calendar will be visible up to June 30, 2019. The most important recruitment exams will be held in the first two months of the year itself. Most of the exams comprise of three stages – preliminary, mains and interview round for selection of a candidate.
The year will begin with Uttar Pradesh Judiciary Service civil judge (mains) exam. The exam is scheduled from January 30 to February 1. The examination for the post of review officer/ assistant review officer 2017 which will be conducted on February 17, 18 and 20. Likewise the assistant registrar recruitment exam-2018 would be conducted on March 5 and 6.
As per the calendar, the Programmer and Computer Operator Recruitment examinations will take place on March 30 and April, while the dental surgeon screening test will be done on March 17. The Government Degree College Lecturer screening examination 2017 is to be held on May 19 and the third stage (Computer Knowledge) examination 2013 for the post of Additional Private Secretary (Uttar Pradesh Secretariat) will be held on May 26.
The preliminary examination for recruitment of assistant prosecution officer is scheduled for June 9 and PCS (Mains) 2018 will take place on June 17. As the winter holidays are commencing from January 25, 2019 at the commission, the calendar has been issued before it. In 2018, two separate 6 monthly exam calendars were issued but the examinations failed to take place. Many examinations included in the calendar were postponed by the commission owing to various reasons. Aspirants have demanded strict adherence to the examination calendar issued by the commission for 2019.
