New Delhi:

Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is very new on Twitter, three tweets as of now. But looks like she has massive fan following on the micro-blogging site. Her online interaction with another Congress lawmakers has understandably gone viral on Twitter. Sushmita Dev, the Congress MP from Assam’s Silchar, posted the video of Priyanka’s maiden speech in Ahmedabad and said, “The speech of @priyankagandhi ji in Gujarat stood out for many reasons. I loved the fact that in her address she changed the order most people follow by referring to women before men ie बहनो और भाइयों & not the other way around.” To this, sister of Congress chief Rahul Gandhi wittingly replied saying, “...and I thought no one noticed!!  ”

This tweet no. 3 is being loved by Twitter. It has already garnered 1.2K LIKES in just one hours. Meanwhile, on political front, Priyanka has sparked an alliance speculations in Uttar Pradesh. The Congress general secretary on Wednesday met Bhim Army chief Chandrashekhar Azad at a hospital where the Dalit leader was admitted a day earlier. Chandrashekhar Azad was taken into custody by police on Tuesday for violating the model code of conduct, officials said. “He is a young man who is struggling and raising his voice, but this government is trying to suppress his voice. I am here because I like his energy and the way he raises voice for youth,” said Gandhi.

There are reports that Azad may contest from Varanasi, which happens to be Prime minister Narendra Modi’s parliamentary constituency.

On March 12, nearly two months after she was given a key party post, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi launched her first political rally taking on Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his home state of Gujarat over "unfulfilled" promises and also alleged that hatred was being spread under his rule. With her brother and Congress president Rahul Gandhi and mother Sonia Gandhi by her side, Priyanka said she was "saddened" by what was happening in the country and asked where were the promised jobs. Priyanka officially joined Congress and was made AICC in-charge of Uttar Pradesh(east) on January 23.

With Lok Sabha elections round the corner, Priyanka asked people to be vigilant, treat their vote as a "weapon", raise the right issues and take wise decisions. "Our institutions are being destroyed. Wherever you see, hatred is being spread," she told the rally near Adalaj village of Gandhinagar district.
