YSR Congress Party chief Jaganmohan Reddy won a landslide victory in the Assembly Elections in Andhra Pradesh and also registered a crushing win in the Lok Sabha elections as well. In the Lok Sabha polls, YSRCP won by a convincing margin in 24 seats while in the 175 seat Assembly, YSR Congress Pary won in 151 seats. Chandrababu Naidu, who walked out of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), was routed in both the assembly and in the Lok Sabha with his Telugu Desam Party party winning just one seat and that too from Vijaywada.
