A day after unleashing a flurry of personal attack against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati on Tuesday hit out at his government saying that it is evident that the ruling dispensation is losing 2019 Lok Sabha Elections as even Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has stopped supporting it.

“PM Modi's government is losing this election, it appears that even RSS has stopped supporting them. In view of unfulfilled election promises & the public agitation, their swayamsevaks are not being seen putting in the work, it has made Shri Modi nervous,” Mayawati said on Tuesday.

Asserting that people across India know that Modi government's boat is sinking, Mayawati said country needs 'pure PM' who can run country in accordance with welfare spirit of constitution.

She also urged the Election Commission to add expenses incurred during roadshows and offering prayers in candidate's total expenditure.

"Roadshows and offering prayers has become a fashion during elections, where a lot of money is spent. Election Commission should add this expense to the candidate's total expenditure limit," the former chief minister said.

"During a ban on a candidate for violating Model Code of Conduct (MCC), if they go to a public place or offer prayers at a temple and it is shown in media, it should be stopped. Election Commission should take action on it," she added.

Earlier, Mayawati repeated her caste swipe at Modi, calling him a "fake OBC".

"He (Narendra Modi) is lamenting in his rallies that Opposition is using abusive language for him. 'Jo gaali khaata hai, woh gaali khaane ka kaam karta hai' (those who get abused must have done something to deserve this treatment)," she said.

Mayawati also took a jibe at the Prime Minister for terming poverty as his caste during an election rally earlier last week, saying "he is changing his caste every second day for political selfish motives".

Dubbing the PM's "affection" for dalits as "dramebazi", she cited the various alleged cases of atrocities on dalits in Gujarat and other BJP ruled states and said Modi has no moral right to make any suggestion to anyone on the Alwar case.

"If he was really concerned for the poor he would have given Rs. 15 to 20 lakh to every poor as promised and would not have taken the decision on note ban in a hurry which has rendered many people jobless and many people lost their lives," she said.

"Neither is the Prime Minister poor nor is he a fakir and is merely doing drama for the vote of the poor," she stressed.

She repeated her charge that Modi got his caste included in the most backward caste list to suit his political motives.
