With 2019 Lok Sabha Elections knocking on the doors, the Congress on Monday released a list of nine candidates for Gujarat, Maharashtra and Rajasthan. The list features 1 candidate for Gujarat, 2 for Maharashtra and 6 for Rajasthan. While Olympian Krishna Punia has been fielded from Rajasthan's Jaipur Rural Lok Sabha seat, Mohan Joshi will be contesting from Pune parliamentary constituency in Maharashtra.

Other candidates in the list include - AJ Patel (Mahesana), Ulhas Patil (Raver), Rijju Jhunjhunuwala (Ajmer), Bharatram Meghwal (Ganganagar - SC), Devkinandan Gurjar (Rajsamand), Rampal Sharma (Bhilwara) and Pramod Sharma (Jhalawar-Baran).
While single-phase polling in all 26 Lok Sabha seats of Gujarat will be held on April 23, Rajasthan, which has 25 parliamentary constituencies, will go to polls in two phases on April 29 and May 6.
Maharashtra, which is a representative of 48 Lok Sabha seats, will go to polls in 4 phases on April 11, 18, 23, 29.
Seven-phase Lok Sabha Election is scheduled to take place between April 11 and May 19. The counting of votes for all phases will be taken up on May 23, 2019.
