The Congress on Tuesday released its list of three candidates, which includes two names for Gujarat and one for Uttar Pradesh.
In Gujarat, the party has fielded Naresh N. Maheshwari from Kachchh Lok Sabha seat and Dharsmesh Bhimbhai Patel from Navsari.
In Uttar Pradesh, the contest on Rampur Lok Sabha seat is expected to be a high-voltage contest where the Congress has fielded Sanjay Kapoor against BJP's Jaya Prada.
On Monday, the party fielded Sanjay Nirupam from North West Mumbai as it released names of 32 more candidates for the Lok Sabha elections.
In the first list put out on Monday, 26 candidates were announced by the party, out of which 25 were for West Bengal.
Mohammad Alam from Barrackpore, Mita Chakraborty from Kolkata Dakshin, Suvra Ghosh from Howrah, and Pratul Saha from Hooghly were among those named in the list.
In the second list, five candidates were named -- two from Chhattisgarh, two from Goa and one for the Union Territory of Daman and Diu.
Goa Pradesh Congress Committee president Girish Chodankar has been fielded from North Goa, while Francisco Sardinha has been fielded from South Goa parliamentary constituency.
In the first list of candidates, the Congress announced that party chief Rahul Gandhi will be contesting from Amethi while UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi will fight from Rae Bareli seat.
The Lok Sabha elections will be held in seven phases from April 11 to May 19. The counting of votes will be held on May 23.
