Congress general secretary in-charge of Uttar Pradesh east Priyanka Gandhi, who has been holding series of meetings with party workers, on Wednesday said that the party will contest the upcoming Lok Sabha elections with all its might. â€œWe will work hard and fight 2019 General Elections with our full might" (2019 ki ladai hum ekdum ji jaan se ladenge),â€ the 47-year-old said in Lucknow.

Priyanka has been given the responsibility of 41 Lok Sabha constituencies in the state by Congress president and her brother Rahul Gandhi. Among the constituencies placed under Priyankaâ€™s charge were the key seats of Gorakhpur â€“ considered to be stronghold of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Varanasi â€“ Prime Minister Narendra Modiâ€™s constituency, Phulpur â€“ a constituency once represented by Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, Allahabad, Lucknow, Amethi, Raebareli, Sultanpur, Barabanki, and Kushinagar.
