With just three days left for the fourth and final phase of the Lok Sabha elections 2019 in Maharashtra, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday addressed a joint rally with Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray in Mumbai. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Republican Party of India (RPI) president Ramdas Athawale were among others who took part in the massive NDA rally held at Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC) this evening.

Before the 2014 general elections too, the Modi- Thackeray duo addressed a similar rally at the same venue in the financial capital of India. Meanwhile, anticipating a huge traffic jam near the BKC area, several offices in the locality have asked employees to plan their day accordingly. The e-mail advisory to office employees comes after the traffic police issued an advisory with road restrictions at BKC in the view of Modi-Thackeray rally.

As per the traffic advisory, entry for all types of vehicles, except emergency vehicles, has been restricted in both directions on the road adjacent to MMRDA grounds, JSW building between Tata Power building up to the fire station building. There will be no entry for vehicles from Diamond Junction up to Asian Heart Hospital junction. The road restrictions will remain in place till Friday midnight.
