Speaking exclusively to News Nation, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday launched a scathing attack against opposition parties and said that the people of India will reject the opportunistic politics grand alliance. Placing confidence on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Yogi said that the Bharatiya Janata Party will win more than 74 seats in Uttar Pradesh in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls 2019. 

He also exuded confidence that the ruling BJP will win the Congress bastion of Amethi in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls on the basis of its welfare works and hard work of its workers. Yogi Adityanath blamed the Congress' "appeasement policies" for the "growth of terrorism" in the country and asserted that the BJP will never compromise the country's security.

Stressing that the saffron party will put an end to the appeasement politics, he called upon people to ensure that Narendra Modi is re-elected as the country's prime minister in the coming Lok Sabha polls as only he can defeat Pakistan backed violence.

As the Election Commission (EC) announced the polling dates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath speaks exclusively to News Nation. Earlier, Yogi had said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi will return to power with a bigger majority than it had in 2014. “The Bharatiya Janata Party alliance under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi will get bigger majority than it had in 2014,” Adityanath told ANI. On Sunday, the EC announced that the elections for Lok Sabha will be held in seven phases from April 11 to May 19 with the counting of votes scheduled to take place on May 23.
