Today is the last day of campaigning before the first phase of polling in the Lok Sabha elections. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Shiv Sena Chief Uddhav Thackeray will hold a joint rally in Maharashtra’s Latur. PM Modi will also address rallies in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. BJP chief Amit Shah will take out a roadshow from Singha Dwara of Shree Jagannath Temple to Badasankha in Puri, Odisha. He will then go to Lucknow for a 2-day stay. Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will address joint rallies in Uttar Pradesh's Saharanpur, Shamli and Bijnor. Congress president Rahul Gandhi is scheduled to visit Hailakandi district in Assam and then to south Odisha to campaign for his candidates. He is likely to attend a public meeting at Digapahandi in Ganjam district. Rahul Gandhi will also address an election rally at Gaya in support of HAM(S) chief and former chief minister Jitan Ram Manjhi.
