Mulayam Singh slams Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav over alliance with BSP

New Delhi:

Days after hailing Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Parliament, Samajwadi Party leader Mulayam Singh Yadav on Thursday took a dig on former Uttar Pradesh chief minister Akhilesh Yadav and questioned the alliance between SP and Bahujan Samaj Party in Uttar Pradesh for the upcoming 2019 Lok Sabha polls.

On the alliance, Mulayam Singh said that he did not understand on what basis did Akhilesh gave half of the seats to Mayawati. He further hit out at his son for delaying the decision on seats. Underlining that he holds more experience, Mulayam said if Akhilesh cannot understand whom to give the ticket, he should be consulted.

The SP veteran further asked the partymen to consult him for tickets.
