With just a month to go for Lok Sabha Elections 2019, News Nation has conducted an opinion poll to gauge the voting intention in Bihar. News Nation's reporters travelled across all the 40 Lok Sabha constituencies in the state and tried to analysis who will have the better chance to win big in the ensuing General Elections 2019. As the political ardour has gained pace days ahead of the crucial Lok Sabha polls, the question which doing rounds all over is - will the Narendra Modi-led BJP government continue to rule at the Centre, or an upbeat Congress manages to turn the tide.
The survey predicts that the BJP-led NDA is going to emerge as the biggest gainer in 2019 Lok Sabha Elections by bagging 29 seats in the politically crucial state. On the other hand, the grand alliance - which comprises RJD, Congress, HAM, RLSP, VIP, Sharad Yadav’s LJD and the three Left parties – CPI, CPI(ML) and CPM - may grab 10 seats in Bihar.
According to people's opinion in Bihar, the BJP is projected to get 45 per cent votes followed by the RJD-led grand alliance, which is predicted to win 38 per cent votes in 2019. 11 per cent votes may go to the others' bag in the state.

General Elections in Bihar is crucial as this is one of the biggest states in terms of Lok Sabha seats after Uttar Pradesh (80) and Maharashtra (48) and West Bengal (42).
Talking about the national poll survey, NDA is expected to win 270 seats, falling short of the majority mark of 272. On the other hand, UPA is likely to bag 134 seats, while others may get 139 seats.

In 2014 Lok Sabha Elections, the BJP emerged as the single largest party with wins in 22 of the 40 Lok Sabha seats in Bihar. The Congress managed to get only 2 Lok Sabha seats followed by the NCP (1), JDU (2), LJSP (6), RJD (4) and RLSP (3).
Results of the opinion poll has been released following the announcement of the Lok Sabha polls schedule on Sunday. While General Elections 2019 will take place in 7 phases between April 11 and May 19, the Assembly polls in Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Odisha and Sikkim will also be held simultaneously in April-May 2019.
