Modi in Kolkata: Congress wants to weaken forces, compromise national security, says PM

­­­After launching a no-holds barred attack on West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in Siliguri, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to address another high-voltage public meeting at the Brigade Ground in Kolkata.

Earlier in the day, PM Modi said that Banerjee is a "speed breaker" in the path of West Bengal's development and insisted that she has to go to make way for the betterment of the state.

Claiming that Banerjee has put a spanner in several central schemes for the uplift of the poor, PM Modi said that “speed breaker Didi” has not allowed people of Bengal to benefit from Ayushman Bharat scheme.
