Sapna Chaudhary, Haryanvi singer and performer, took a dig at Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal at being slapped in a public rally, was God’s answer for the comments he made about Delhi BJP leader Manoj Tiwari. Kejriwal, who was holding the roadshow in favour of New Delhi candidate Brijesh Goyal, was slapped by a man during a roadshow in Moti Nagar in the New Delhi constituency on Saturday. This is the second time Kejriwal has been slapped in a public rally. Earlier, he was also attacked with ink and spices.
Kejriwal had made a remark against Delhi BJP chief and North East Delhi Lok Sabha candidate Manoj Tiwari, saying the latter "dances very well". While campaigning for his party candidate Dilip Pandey in the constituency, Kejriwal said, "Manoj Tiwari dances very well. Pandey ji does not know how to dance, but he knows how to work. This time, vote for who works. Do not vote for the person who dances."
So, when Kejriwal was slapped on Saturday, Tiwari’s good friend Sapna didn’t miss a chance to take a dig at the Delhi chief minister. She said, “See I had told you… God has answered, now we don’t have to say anything.”
Kejriwal said that the attack on him was a BJP conspiracy and the man who attacked him was sent to give a message that anybody standing against Prime Minister Narendra Modi will not be spared.
"The attacker was sent to give a message to the country that anyone who will dare to speak against Prime Minister Narendra Modi will not be spared. Every voice raised against you should be suppressed - this is the sign of dictatorship," the AAP chief said.
