Son of AAPs West Delhi candidate claims his father paid Rs 6 Cr to Arvind Kejriwal for ticket
In a sensational claim, Aam Aadmi Party's West Delhi candidate, Balbir Singh Jakhar's son Uday Jakhar has said that his father paid Rs 6 crore to Delhi Chief Minsiter Arvind Kejriwal for the ticket. In a purpurted video tweeted by ANI news agency, Uday Jakhar claimed that his father was never part of the Aam Aadmi Party or the Anna Hazare movement and that he joined the politics just three months ago.
"He joined politics about three months ago in the month of January. He told me that he was receiving a ticket from the Aam Aadmi Party worth Rs 6 crore which he would directly give to Arvind Kejriwal and Gopal Rai," the AAP candidate’s son is heard saying in the video.
While News Nation does not vouch for the authenticity of the video in which the AAP candidate's son further claimed that his father was ready to give bail for 1984 anti-Sikh riots convicts Yashpal and Sajjan Kumar.
"…I brought it upon my conscious to question this as whole. My father, when I asked him for his assistance to pay for my education, was unable to do so. He said he will use that money for his own political benefits. But another surprising fact is that he was ready to give that money to give bail to Yashpal and Sajjan Kumar," he said.
