Anupam Kher opens new centre of his acting school 'Actor Prepares' in Delhi

'Actor Prepares', veteran actor Anupam Kher’s acting school, has opened a new centre in Safdarjung Enclave, Delhi, marking its expansion beyond Mumbai. Aspiring performers in the national capital region can now receive professional acting education through the new centre.

'Actor Prepares' was founded by Anupam Kher in 2005. Over the years, the institute has trained and mentored several well-known actors, including Deepika Padukone, Hrithik Roshan, Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Shubhangi Dutt, Abhishek Bachchan, Preity Zinta, Esha Gupta, Gauahar Khan, among others.

Talking about the expansion of 'Actor Prepares', Anupam Kher said, “We are thrilled to bring Actor Prepares to New Delhi, a city brimming with creative energy and artistic ambition. This centre will open doors for aspiring actors who seek quality training rooted in professional practice and led by faculty with deep industry experience.”

Legendary actor Boman Irani, who inaugurated the new Delhi centre, said, “The launch of Actor Prepares in New Delhi is not just the opening of a new centre, but the beginning of countless creative journeys. Institutions like these play a vital role in nurturing discipline, authenticity and artistic courage.” 

The new centre will offer several acting programmes taught by industry professionals. The courses focus on building skills, confidence, and practical understanding of the craft. After completing the programme, students will receive certification and guidance from the Actor Prepares team, including support from its casting team.
