Deepika Padukone recently visited the sets of Salman Khan’s reality show, Bigg Boss 13 to promote her latest release Chhapaak. She was accompanied by her co-star Vikarant Massey and acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal, on whose life the film is based. When Deepika entered the stage to meet Salman, she greeted him with a Namaste.

Salman, who was quite intrigued by the actress' greeting style, asked her, "Amit ji kab ban gai?" Deepika clarified that her style of greeting isn't inspired by Amitabh Bachchan and that she has actually learnt it from Sara Ali Khan. "Sara Ali Khan se seekh rahi hu, wo aise bahut karti hai. Love you Sara," said Deepika. Sara is quite famous for her trademark Namaste gestures. Whenever she meets paparazzi, Sara addresses them with a Namaste.

During her visit to Bigg Boss house, Deepika announced a new task wherein the housemates had to act like their fellow contestants. She divided the housemates in two teams. Deepika was super impressed with team b's performance, which comprised Vishal, Madhurima, Shehnaz, Aarti and Shefali. As a reward, the conetstants went on a fun ride with Deepika.

Meanwhile, Deepika's Chhapaak has opened to rave reviews. The film has managed to collect Rs 18 crore in just 3 days of its release.

Talking about the film, Deepika said at an event ''The entire journey was special. I don’t think I can speak of a particular moment or scene as the closest to my heart. I think the entire journey and process has been extremely rewarding. It’s the film I am most proud of, among all that I have done in my career. I am not thinking much about people’s reactions after its release because that is a different aspect, but this film is something I am proud of, and I am proud that the entire team had faith in Meghna’s (Gulzar) vision.''

The film hit the screens on 10 January, 2020 alongside Ajay Devgn's Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior.
