Even before its premiere, Bigg Boss Kannada season 7 has created a lot of buzz among the audience. The makers recently dropped the teaser and revealed that they would follow a 'celebrity-only' format. The show is all set to premiere on October 13 and Kiccha Sudeep will return as host for this season as well.
While the fans are excited to have Sudeep back on the show, it is being reported that Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy actor is charging around 4 crores per season. Sudeep, who is on a contract with the channel airing the show, has signed up for five years from 2015 for 20 cores.
Meanwhile, Kannada actress Sharmila Mandre, comedian Kuri Prathap and VJ Agni are a few celebrities that might appear on the show. Sudeep is also working on Salman Khan’s much-talked-about Dabangg 3. The actor is playing the role of a villain named Balli in the movie which also stars Sonakshi Sinha and Arbaaz Khan in the lead.
In an interview with a leading daily, Sudeep revealed that he was excited to be paired against Salman Khan in the movie. The actor added that he found it difficult to perform action stunts with Salman, considering Khan’s excellence in action movies.''I found it very difficult to kick him in his heart during a scene, I found it hard," he revealed.
"Salman told me ‘Buddy, kick me!’ The respect I had for me, I couldn’t kick him. Then we did it differently because I just couldn’t. I failed. I have now realised why people in the South found it difficult to kick me,'' he added.
The film is set to release on December 20, 2019.
