Self proclaimed Godman and Bigg Boss 10 contestant Swami Omji Maharaj has fallen in legal trouble as a Delhi court issued a fresh non-bailable warrant against him, in connection with a theft case lodged by his brother.
The arrest warrant was issued by Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) Satish Kumar Arora, who also asked Omji Maharaj to appear in the court on the next date of hearing on December 3. Further, the Godman's bail bond and surety bond were also forfeited.
In November 2008, an FIR was registered against Vinodanand Jha aka Swami Omji regarding a complaint by his younger brother Pramodh Jha, who accused him of breaking his bicycle shop's lock in Lodhi Colony along with three men and stealing 11 bicycles, expensive spare parts, sale deed of the house and various important documents.
The controversial Godman also faces charges under the Arms Act, Terrorist and Disruptive Activities (Prevention) Act in other matters.
Om Ji Maharaj has faced a lot of flak even in the Bigg Boss house as he has been in constant confrontation with the rest of the contestants in the show.
