Saif Ali Khan recently created a buzz in the town after he expressed his concern over daughter Sara's Bollywood debut. The diva will reportedly be stepping in showbiz industry with Abhishek Kapoor's 'Kedarnath' opposite Sushant Singh Rajput. While the news got the tinselvile talking Saif reportedly stated that this was not the kind of career any parent would choose for their child.
Indeed, Khan's comment created a stir stating that the 'Race' actor isn't happy about Sara's Bollywood debut.
And if the recent reports are to be believed, Saif's ex-wife Amrita Singh is quite upset with Nawab of Pataudi over this damaging statement.

According to a report published in Pinkvilla, a source was quoted as saying, "She told him it was an irresponsible thing to say considering Sara is about to embark on a film career.” The insider adds, “Saif didn’t want to be dragged into an argument, so he mumbled that he was ‘quoted out of context’ and calmed down his former wife."
Notably, Saif has even clarified to the media about his statement on Sara's Bollywood debut and said,"I love my daughter, support her and I think her choice is great. Of course, she is an actress, she belongs to a family of artistes, which is great, but I am still a little concerned for her as it is an unsure profession. Because I love her, I worry for her. That’s all I am saying. Is that clear? People write things like, ‘He doesn’t know what he is saying. He doesn’t know his mind.’ I find that annoying."

Interestingly, the doting father also came up with an advice for Sara and said that it would be best if she reads the script before signing every movie.
On the work front, Saif Ali Khan will be next seen in Akshat Verma's directorial debut 'Kaalakaandi', which is slated to release on September 8. Besides, he will also be seen in the remake of Hollywood comedy drama 'Chef', which is expected to release in October this year.
