'Baahubali 2' is just a couple of days away from it's release and before the most anticipated movie hits the theatres, director SS Rajamouli came up with special gesture towards lead actor Prabhas. The acclaimed director chose to give a prestigious present to the 'Baahubali' actor as a take awya gift for his dedication for the movie.
According to the media reports, Rajamouli gifted Prabhas the armour which he wore in the blockbuster movie as 'Baahubali'. Besides, the filmmakers was all praises for Prabhas who dedicated more than three years of his career for the movie. Prabhas had not just put in every single effort for 'Baahubali' where he plays a double role, but he also made sure to stay in the warrior spirit and installed a volleyball court within his house.

Lauding Prabhas' commitment, Rajamouli told a leading daily, "Show me one actor who can spend more than three years on a character he believes in. Prabhas and I became very close after we worked together for the first time in Chatrapathi, and we used to spend a lot of time together. Thank you Prabhas for being my friend. I can’t think of anyone else for Baahubali but Prabhas"
He even stated that he was quite determined to rope in Prabhas the moment he came up with the idea of 'Baahubali'. "When I decided to make the film on such a grand scale, I knew the kind of commitment was needed for this canvas. Even before I discussed the story with Prabhas, he was already in it," Rajamouli was quoted as saying.
Getting Baahubali's armour is indeed one of the most special gift Prabhas could ever think of.
Talking about 'Baahubali 2', the movie is the much awaited prequel of Rajamouli's 2015 release movie which did wonders at the box office. The movie also stars Rana Daggubati, Sathyaraj, Anushka Sharma and Tamannaah Bhatia in key roles. Produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Production, 'Baahubali 2' is slated to release on April 28.
