Shah Rukh Khan, who has been ruling Bollywood for over 25 years now, is all set to make his Tollywood debut with SS Rajamouli's upcoming directorial 'Bahubali 2'.
According to the media reports, the superstar will be seen playing a grand cameo in the movie which happens to be the sequel of the much successful 2014 release 'Baahubali' starring Rana Daggubatti and Prabhas in the lead.
Interestingly, 'Baahubali' had left the audience intrigued with a major question about why Kattappa killed Baahubali.
Besides, the stunning poster of the movie has also raised the anticipation level amongst the audience.
And now the reports of SRK's involvement in the movie has indeed escalated the excitement.
The reports suggest that Shah Rukh will be playing a mediator between Prabhas and Rana Daggubatti in the movie.
“The makers had approached South actors like Suriya and Mohanlal for a cameo in the Telugu film, which will be dubbed and released in Tamil and Hindi. But now it will be Shah Rukh who plays the character of a mediator between protagonist Prabhas and villain Rana Daggubati. It is an interesting sequence in the narrative,” a leading daily was quoted as saying.
So far, no official announcement has been made about King Khan been roped in for 'Baahubali: The Conclusion' and his role in the movie.
Interestingly, the 'Dilwale' actor was earlier seen doing a cameo in Karan Johar's 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil', Amitabh Bachchan's 'Bhootnath' and 'Saathiya'.
Talking about 'Baahubali 2', starring Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah Bhatia in pivotal roles, the movie is made with a whopping budget of Rs 200 crore. The movie is currently in its post-production.
'Baahubali: The Conclusion' is slated to hit the screens on April 28.
