Blackbuck poaching case verdict: Here's how Saif Ali Khan REACTED to Salman Khan's conviction
The much-talked about 1998 blackbuck poaching case has finally received the verdict on Thursday where superstar Salman Khan was convicted by the Jodhpur court.
Salman, along with Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Neelam and Sonali Bendre, was accused of poaching two blackbucks in 1998 in Rajasthan's Jodhpur.
While Salman was found guilty by the court, his co-stars were acquitted by the session court. Indeed, it was a big sigh of relief for the celebs except for Salman.
Saif Ali Khan, who is happy with his acquittal, has reportedly expressed his disappointment over Salman's conviction.
The Jodhpur court has sentenced Khan to five years of imprisonment along with a penalty of Rs 10,000 levied upon him.
According to the media reports, the Nawab of Pataudi, who shares a great camaraderie with Salman, was upset after hearing the news of Salman being convicted in the poaching case.
Notably, the session court is yet to announce the quantum of sentence for Salman Khan.
Apparently, the prosecution is demanding maximum punishment for the Sultan actor, whereas Salman's counsels are seeking probation.
