Deepika Padukone, who has been gearing up for the release of her upcoming movie Padmavati, has finally unveiled her look from the royal period drama. The diva will be seen essaying the titular role in the Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial.
Deepika took it to Instagram to share her majestic look as Queen Padmavati on the first day of Navratri and wrote,"देवी सà¥à¤¥à¤¾à¤ªà¤¨à¤¾ के शà¥à¤ अवसर पर मिलिठरानी पदà¥à¤®à¤¾à¤µà¤¤à¥€ से #Padmavati @FilmPadmavati".
The diva is seen donning the traditional Rajisthani attire with exquisite jewelry and completed her look with minimal make up.
Deepika also shared another poster of herself from the movie where she looks every bit of a royal princess dressed in a heavy red ghaghra-choli which has intricate handwork.
Interestingly, Ranveer Singh, who plays the role of antagonist Allauddin Khilji in the movie, has unveiled the first poster of Padmavati on Wednesday evening.
The movie will also star Shahid Kapoor in the role of Raja Rawal Ratan Singh opposite Deepika Padukone. Besides, Padmavati will also feature Aditi Rao Hydari and Jim Sarbh in key roles.
The much awaited period drama will release on December 1.
