Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s extravagant Mumbai reception saw several celebrities walking with sheer glamour. Many rumoured couples made their relationship official by walking to the occasion hand-in-hand. From Tiger Shroff-Disha Patani to Farhan Akhtar-Shibani Dandekar, the night unveiled many hot B-town relations. However, the one couple, that everybody from film fraternity to millions of fans, desperately waited for, did not arrive. Any guesses? Well, it is none other than the Alia Bhatt with rumoured beau Ranbir Kapoor.

The Raazi actor has been a close friend with Deepika and Ranveer, but there was no sign of her or Ranbir at the reception. However, there is a rock-solid reason to it. According to a report in Pinkvilla, Ranbir and Alia were busy with their Brahmastra shoots on Saturday. Along with filmmaker Ayan Mukerji, the duo had been working on a 20-hour-long shift and hence couldn’t make it for the bash.
Bollywood belle Alia and beau Ranbir have been sending their fans into a tizzy with constant updates about their whirlwind romance and giving away some major relationship goals. Although the couple has not officially accepted or denied their commitment towards each other, fans and fellow B-town celebrities cannot stop gushing about their love life.
In a recent interview with a leading magazine, Alia said, "Yeah, I think I have" when asked if she had found "the one" in Ranbir. Alia revealed that she becomes an "affectionate, beautiful person" when she is in love with someone. "I have stars and a halo on my head, and I'm walking around with rainbows. I like to keep it simple and sweet," she said.

Ranbir on the other hand, in an interview with GQ magazine, said that ‘its too new to talk about it” and there’s it only hint towards a confirmation from the actor’s side. The rumours of them dating started making rounds ever since they began working together on Brahmastra.
Helmed by Ayan Mukherji, Brahmastra is the first instalment of the fantasy adventure trilogy and also features Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna and Dimple Kapadia in significant roles.
The movie is scheduled to release in 2019.
