Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s big day is almost here! The celebrations have begun for Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's wedding and while the fans back home are waiting for inside photos and videos with bated breaths, the couple has started their pre-wedding festivities away from the media glare in Italy.
With absolutely no pictures allowed whatsoever, getting a peek into the functions seems next to impossible. We are only expecting the unravelling of their detailed wedding ceremony will be a confetto blasting in the air.
All the guests attending the CastaDiva resort on Tuesday had to present a special wrist band while security guards cover up the camera lenses on mobile phones with stickers.
The e-invite also bear a QR code to be scanned at the entry, while on the lake there were numerous security boats patrolling in watch for prying photographers or gossip starters.
So much strict security and strait-laced guidelines are for a reason. Notably, the star couple wants only images clicked by their wedding photographers to get out. They also want to be the first ones to share them with their fans. Hence the big ban on friends and family sharing them.
Singer Harshdeep Kaur who had performed at the sangeet had shared a picture from the event, we understand her excitement all too well but to fans sorrow, the photo was asked to be taken down immediately before its circulation. Â

While Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra are set to tie the knot in India and the wedding venue is in Jodhpur, Deepika and Ranveer chose to take their wedding overseas.
The Padmaavat actors' destination wedding will take place today at a picturesque location in Italy’s Villa del Balbianello in Lake Como. Deepika and Ranveer will reportedly host two lavish receptions in India – one in Bengaluru and the other in Mumbai.
