Meena Kumari was one of the finest actress of her time and was also considered as the female Guru Dutt of Indian film industry.
In a career span of 38 years, the veteran actress has acted in around 92 films which includes some of the all-time classics such as Sahib Biwi or Ghulam, Pakeezah, Parineeta, Dil Ek Mandir and many more.
Meena Kumari born as Mehjabeen Bano started her career when was just four year old. Her father was a Muslim and her mother was a Bengali Christian.
She was one of the highest paid actress during her time when it was a male-dominated industry.
