He wears multiple hats as a film personality – he is an actor, producer, and sometimes he also makes special appearances in movies like he recently did in Shah Rukh khan’s Zero.

1. Salman Khan’s real name is Abdul Rashid Salim Salman Khan. 

2. Salman made his debut with Biwi Ho Toh Aisi, where he appeared in a supporting role. 

3. Salman did not have a film offer for six months after the release of his second film Maine Pyar Kiya.

4. In a scene from his film, Ek Tha Tiger, where Tiger (Salman) is painting Zoya (Katrina Kaif), the artwork shown is Salman’s real work.

5. While shooting for Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Salman painted houses around the shoot location as part of the Clean India Campaign.

6. In not less than 5 films, Salman’s character is called Prem. 7. As a token of gratitude to his friend and director Sooraj Barjatya, Salman did not charge any fee for the film Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.

8. He himself painted the posters of his film Jai Ho (2014). 

9. On the sets of Jab Pyaar Kisise Hota Hai, he reportedly never had a conversation with his co-star Twinkle Khanna.
