Arjun Kapoor, who was busy with the IIFA festivities in Bangkok, on Monday flew to Mumbai just in time for his 33rd birthday.
The Ishaqzaade actor kick-started his birthday celebration amid an intimate family affair, which marked the attendance of his sisters Janhvi, Khushi, Anshula and father Boney Kapoor at his Mumbai residence.
The midnight birthday celebration was nothing less than a gala affair with cake, candles, balloons and an adorable family by Arjun's side.
While the 33-year-old has been inundated with a slew of heartfelt messages from across the industry, the warm wishes from his sisters Janhvi, Anusha and Khushi were among the sweetest.
"You are the reason for our strength. Love you, happy birthday Arjun bhaiya," Janhvi took to Instagram to wish her bhaiya on his cake day. Along with the message, she also shared a picture where Arjun is seen striking a pose with her three sisters Anshula, Janhvi, and Khushi. This is perhaps one of the cutest pictures you will get to see on the Internet Tuesday.
Arjun's real sister Anshula, on the other hand, wrote a long message while sharing a childhood picture of the two.
"Happy birthday Bhai !! You are genuinely the kindest, most hardworking, strongest & funniest person I know, with the biggest heart. You’ve always been our “protector†& my anchor in more ways than one - my steadfast support, my shelter from the storm, my strength & my emotional cornerstone. I will always be grateful that you’ve been with me through it all, making sure we are strong enough to withstand anything & that we will always come out on the other side unscathed. Always continue marching to your own beat, because we wouldn’t have you be any other way. love you to infinity," the message read.
Interestingly, Arjun, Janhvi and Khushi on Monday were also clicked outside Arjun's residence while taking off in their car after the cake cutting event. The pictures certainly reflect the warm bond the siblings share with each other.
It will surely make you forget the time when Arjun and Anshula used to maintain a distance with their half-sisters and stepmother Sridevi.
Arjun and Anshula are Boney Kapoor's children with first wife Mona, who died in 2012. Janhvi and Khushi are Kapoor's daughters with his second wife Sridevi, who passed away on February 24, 2018.
On the work front, Arjun is currently busy shooting his forthcoming flicks Namaste England and Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar and also has Panipat in the pipeline. Janhvi, on the other hand, will be making her Bollywood debut with Dhadak, a Dharma Productions film. Also starring Ishaan Khatter, the romantic drama will hit the theatres on July 20.
