New Delhi:

The famous television reality show 'Big Boss Tamil' is under threat as Hindu Makkal Katchi, a Hindu outfit has filed a complaint against actor and filmmaker Kamal Haasan on Wednesday and wanted police to ban the show. The show went on air this year on June 25.

Besides Haasan, the host of the famous television show, all the contestants like Oviya, Namitha, Ganja Karuppu and Harathi are also at risk as the nationalist party further demanded to arrest them as well.

According to HMK the Tamil show has allegedly hurted the sentiments and culture of 7 crore people in the state after the "Invocation to Tamil mother (Tamil Thaai Vazhthu)" was ridiculed in the programme.

Talking about the same Arjun Sampath, the member of the group has claimed the Tamil version of the show was also encouraging the Leftist and Dravidian ideologies.

Among all 15 participants only one is commoner and she has been further named for raising slogans against the BJP government during the Jallikattu protests.

Meanwhile, responding to all those latest allegations, Kamal, the celebrity host of the show has recently addressed a press conference in Chennai and expressed his views over the matter.

"I believe that our justice system will take care of it. The fringe group perhaps has not watched similar shows over the last 11 years. I have done kissing scenes in the past. Perhaps, they are seeking my arrest late," the actor was quoted while interacting during the PC.

"Big Boss show is as necessary as cricket," he further added.

Previously, Hindu Makkal Katchi has targeted the 'Vishwaroopam' actor for his controversial remarks on Hindu epic Mahabharata

The nationalist party has found his comment derogatory and court issued summons to the outspoken actor.

However, further the high court had suspended the summons issued by the court earlier.
