Katrina Kaif has finally broken her silence on her break up with Ranbir Kapoor and said that the relationship taught her a big lesson about life. The actress further asserted that whatever it was it will always stay with her.
Katrina had been dating Ranbir for over six years until they called it quits early last year. While the couple maintained a stoic stance on the reason behind their split, it was speculated that Ranbir might have cheated on Katrina which eventually led to their break up.
On being quizzed about the same, Katrina told Pinkvilla, "A really big lesson for me in the last year or so has been to not have a strong opinion about what the other person should do. That other person could be my mother, sister, husband, boyfriend, lover — whoever it is, we are all individuals. I may have an opinion on what’s right by me for you to be doing. But that’s what my version of what is right. It doesn’t need to be yours, too. But whatever a person does, I believe they are doing it for themselves. One individual should never deny another the right to do whatever they want to."

Interestingly, Ranbir and Katrina will soon be seen romancing each other for the first time post break-up in their upcoming movie 'Jagga Jasoos'. In fact, the two are also promoting the movie together and their off screen chemistry often makes the heads turn.
"I don’t think there is a single soul in this world who could plan a conversation between me and Ranbir. It is impossible for any human being on this planet to duplicate and replicate these conversations. This banter between us has been happening since day one, from the time we met on the sets of Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani. We have a way of speaking to each other in a work sphere which amuses us," Katrina told Firstpost.
Talking about 'Jagga Jasoos', the movie is helmed by Anurag Basu and will hit the screens on July 14.
