Why Kattappa killed Baahubali? This cliff-hanging question has been the talk of the town ever since SS Rajamouli released 'Baahubali: The Beginning' in 2015.
And while people are waiting for this much-hyped question to be answered on the big screen in April with 'Baahubali: The Conclusion', here's the answer to the biggest question of the year.
Just before the release of 'Baahubali 2', veteran actor Sathyaraj aka Kattappa reveals why did he kill Baahubali in the movie.

"Producer Shobu paid me very well to kill Prabhas. My director Rajamouli asked me to kill Baahubali, and I obliged. Why would I kill darling Prabhas otherwise?," Kattappa told a leading daily.
Interestingly, we have heard the similar answer earlier as well but from Rajamouli, who has said that Kattappa killed Baahubali because he told him to do so.

The filmmaker also admitted that he is quite fond of being asked the question. "We love it when anyone asks this question. I can't count the number of times we get asked this. It is exciting not just for me but for the entire team. We feel elated that we could break the barrier of region and language," Rajamouli had said.
Indeed, the 'Baahubali' team is trying it hard to keep the suspense intact.
Starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubatti, Tammannaah Bhatia and Anushka Shetty in the lead, 'Baahubali: The Conclusion' is scheduled to release on April 28.
