Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt's role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Inshallah revealed?
Alia Bhatt has some big banner films on her plate. Fresh out of promotions for Kalnak that is running sucessfully in theaters, the actress is now all set to start shooting for Snjay Leela Bhansali's Inshallah that also stars Salman Khan in lead role. Alia was also recently spotted visting Bhansali's office. Movie buffs has already expressed their disagreement on the casting and age differenec of the lead actors and even memes began to circuilate on social media.
Now, a report in Mumbai Mirror has revealed several character details about the ones Salman and Alia are set to play. According to a source, Salman will play a 40-year-old businessman while Alia Bhatt will portray a 20-year-old aspiring actress. Contrary to the belief that they will play siblings, the source said Salman and Alia will be romantically inclined in the film, but the source confirmed that the storyline will justify the age gap between them.
"The story will justify the teaming up of two actors, from different generations, on a romantic journey," – the source told the tabloid.
The film will be shot around the river Ganga. The production team has zeroed down some locations like haridwar, Rishikesh and Varanasi and the the next schedule will be shot in US. "The Crew was contemplating on several places including Europe but settled on the US after several rounds of recce. Salman and Alia will be there in winters."
After making commercially successfull intense period films, Inshallah comes as a much needed breather. Salman will be uniting with Sanjay after 19 years and will start work on his first love story since Sultan after he wraps up Dabangg 3.
Alia will be next seen in Rajamouli's RRR and Karan Johar's Takht. Sadak 2 will also go on the floors soon.
