Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmaavat has been a big success at the box office and the star cast couldn't be happier for the response. Padmaavat, which was a royal period drama, featured Deepika Padukone as Rajput queen Padmaavat opposite Shahid Kapoor who plays the role of Maharawal Ratan Singh. It also had Ranveer Singh essaying the role of Alauddin Khilji.
Given the grand success of Padmaavat despite the protests, it is time for the entire to celebrate with a big bash. While Deepika and Ranveer would be a part of the grand celebrations, it is reported that Shahid might give the bash a miss.
According to the media reports, Shahid is currently busy shooting for his upcoming movie Batti Gul Meter Chalu in Tehri.
While he has reportedly wrapped the shoot a day before it was scheduled, the Haider actor is likely to fly to Delhi to spend some time with wife Mira Rajput and daughter Misha Kapoor.
Reportedly, Sasha has plans to celebrate his upcoming birthday on February 25 by attending a satsang in Beas with his family.
As we know, family has always topped Shahid's priority list, he is likely to miss the Padmavat success bash which will b clashing with his Beas trip.
On the other hand, the mega success part is said to be a grand affair with a guest list of over 150 people.
