Baahubali actor Tamannaah Bhatia has come out in support of Sajid Khan who got engulfed in the #MeToo movement after several actors including Vidya Balan, Bipasha Basu voiced their ‘experiences’ working with the filmmaker, which primarily are not in a good light. Following the sexual allegations against Sajid Khan, the filmmaker was even forced to step down as the director of Housefull 4 with Farhad Samji chipping in at in his place. However, unlike other actors and their allegations against Sajid Khan, Tamannaah Bhatia has a different tale to tell.
"He never treated me in any bad way and I was completely comfortable working with him," reported Deccan Chronicle. Mentioning Vidya Balan, who, on a talk show mentioned that that she will never work with Sajid Khan again, Bhatia added: "Everyone has a different experience and everybody is entitled to their own opinion and experience. If Vidya has had a bad experience, it's normal for her to react like that’’.
"For me, it has always been about the script and what's the kind of film that I am working on. When I worked with Sajid, unfortunately, none of our films did well. He never treated me in any bad way and I was completely comfortable working with him," she adds.
Among other prominent names like Nana Patekar, Subhash Ghai, Vikas Bahl and Alok Nath, Sajid Khan was also among receiving end of allegations of sexual harassment by multiple women.
Tamannaah will be seen next on the big screen in the Kangana Ranaut's Telugu remake of Queen, titled That Is Mahalakshmi.
