Tanushree Dutta recently revived a 10-year-old controversy in which she made a shocking revelation on Nana Patekar’s alleged indecent behaviour with her in 2009 on the sets of 2009 film Horn 'Ok' Pleassss. Since then, the Aashiq Banaya Aapne actress has been receiving support from the Bollywood fraternity and her colleagues including Priyanka Chopra are appreciating her for her courage.
Despite receiving support from the Quantico actress, Tanushree is not amused by Priyanka calling her a 'survivor' in her tweet that read, "The world needs to #BelieveSurviviors". Â

In an interaction with Zoom TV, Tanushree said, "Well, it's amazing. She ( Priyanka) has finally decided to join the bandwagon. It's probably a smart thing to do at this point of time. But I just want people to know that I am not going to be reduced to a survivor. I have a name, I have a story and I have this truth that I am trying to get out because it's not for me but for people who will come forward in the generations to come.
"In the near future, we'll have cases coming forward. So let's not generalise this thing. There are people who are genuinely supporting me and those are the people who I would like to focus on. But ya, thanks to each and every person who tweeted. It's great!", Tanushree reacted strongly.
In a similar tone, Tanushree did not spare actress turned writer, Twinkle Khanna about her husband Akshay Kumar’s professional relationship with Nana. The actress expressed displeasure on Akshay shooting with Nana Patekar for his upcoming flick Housefull 4.
In an interview with ZoomTV.com, Tanushree Dutta said that she was thankful to Twinkle Khanna for extending her support. However, she later questioned her and asked ‘what about her husband?’
On the other hand, reacting to the 10-year-old controversy, National award winner, Nana Patekar has refuted the allegations levelled by Tanushree Dutta and has further sought an apology from the actress.
